For over 100 years this unique salsa has been a traditional condiment for Japanese Americans living in Colorado. It was discovered that the green Chile pepper, when prepared, had the same consistency of the seaweed used as a traditional condiment on rice and other Japanese foods. A century later it was discovered that it is delicious on everything. Try Karami on ANYTHING!!

This was a proud moment. In September of 2013, Jason was in the early stages of launching his company. Karami Salsa won best salsa at the Pikes Peak Urban Gardens 2013 Garlic Festival. There were over 200 votes cast in a field of six contestants, Karami Salsa had 90 votes and second place received 43.
Sadly, Jason passed away in 2021 but we are committed to follow in his footsteps and are in the process of bringing Karami Salsa back to life. It is a product that he was passionate about and that had begun out of his love for family and tradition.
